Uncle Wiggily And The Wolf | Howard R. Garis Stories

While out for a walk, Uncle Wiggily and Nurse Jane find what appears to be a scary golden wolf, but discover it's merely a wooden statue fallen from a circus wagon. Deciding it would make a fine ornament, they cleverly use roller skates borrowed from goat children to transport the heavy statue back to Uncle Wiggily's bungalow.
