Uncle Wiggily and Tom-Tom is a short story in which Uncle Wiggily Longears, a gentlemanly rabbit, crosses paths with Tom-Tom the piper's son — a boy who has just stolen a squealing baby pig and is fleeing through the woods with nowhere to run. Unlike the nursery rhyme, there are no streets to escape down, only trees.
