Uncle Wiggily Longears prepares for Halloween, planning to dress as an elephant with a stuffed-stocking trunk. He joins Sammie and Susie Littletail, and Johnnie and Billie Bushytail for a night of Halloween fun. While driving in his car, the group encounters other animal children in costume. The fun is interrupted when a real bear appears, threatening to bite Uncle Wiggily. Fortunately, the bear only grabs and tears the stuffed-stocking trunk, causing it to burst cotton all over the place! Munchie Trot, dressed as a policeman, scares the bear away.
