Uncle Wiggily's Thanksgiving is a short story following the ever-cheerful rabbit Uncle Wiggily, who sets out from his hollow stump bungalow with a basket of frosted cakes to give to anyone with something to be thankful for. Along the way he meets a sick pig, a goat with his head stuck in a fence, and a police dog who hasn't yet made his arrest — each finding their own unexpected reason for gratitude.
