What happens when a surgeon celebrated as a “hero” leaves some patients to suffer devastating consequences? From maggot-infested wounds to systemic failures that left some paraplegic patients and amputees in worse shape than when they first sought help. In this interview, investigative journalist Charlotte Grieve tells the story of how she uncovered the hidden side behind the halo of a doctor protected by glowing media reports, and how she fought in court to defend the truth.  Dr Munjed Al Muderis is scheduled to appeal the court's findings in mid 2026.
