Today we remember the uncovering of the relics of Venerable Seraphim of Sarov, a beloved Russian saint known for his holiness and miracles. His relics were uncovered and honored in 1903, drawing hundreds of thousands of pilgrims. We also honor Venerable Macrina, sister of Saint Basil the Great, who lived a life of prayer, service, and monastic leadership in the fourth century.
