In Under a Fell Black Sky – Episode 01: Setting the Scene, our Keeper of the Arcane Lore swaps titles to become Dungeon Daddy as the WSM-RPG crew plunges into a high-action Dungeons & Dragons one-shot enhanced by the immersive soundscapes of Syrinscape. Unfortunately, the greatest monster at the table struck before the adventure had properly begun: dodgy recording equipment. With the original audio from the first session sadly corrupted beyond salvation, we weren't willing to consign the whole adventure to the technological void. So, before we join the surviving actual-play recordings, Dad takes up the narrator's mantle for a specially produced dramatic recreation of that lost opening session. Beneath a fell black sky, a civilised army clashes with an overwhelming horde of undead, four adventurers awaken amid the carnage with precious little idea of what's happening, and an already chaotic battlefield is about to become considerably worse.
