The Incredibly talented Djeki Morris takes us through his in-depth Production techniques; Favourite Plug-ins; Labels and exposure; His experience of becoming the Social Media rage that he is today! He also shares more personal stories about dancing to 90's House music with his Dad:) and a lot more! Djeki Morris, better known by his house alias Bad Boombox, is an American DJ and record producer. In November 2019, he released his debut EP Get Fried through Slightly Sizzled Records, a Los Angeles based label that pushes the innovative frontier of contemporary west coast tech and acid house. The three-track release quickly gained public DJ support from Erick Morillo, Gene Farris, Golf Clap, Marco Carola, among other various house artists. Shortly afterwards, the project charted on multiple Beatport charts and in turn, advanced a niche but avid initial audience for the Bad Boombox sound. In swift response, Bad Boombox began to expand this fan base by embellishing the thousands of new fans through his TikTok and Instagram posts – the daily formula of which provides a carefree personality and energetic flavor to accompany his music. Now, they want to see him play live – a DJ set that delivers the combination of quality house and direct entertainment for everyone involved.
