Underground (Purity Mix)

Mix re-worked in February 2018. After hearing this a few times, I became aware of musical relationships between the sounds that I had never considered when making the original version. I have now reworked the mix to bring these into focus and just loved the result. I hope you will too. For the full words of the monologue, see my track Underground (Monologue). The voice was generated on a computer, even though it may sound human. The backing is influenced by the sound of machinery, mainly 19th century steam as can be witnessed at The Blists Hill museum at Madeley, Shropshire in the UK.
