Understanding
from Daily Got a Minute Message with John Ed · host DENON
Sometimes a law’s influence goes way beyond what was intended. This happened recently at a Ford-Lincoln dealership in Kansas. They had a sale for a F-250 pickup truck, but then realized that a robin had built a nest on one of its tires and laid four eggs in it. A federal law kept the company from moving the Ford pickup truck. They advertised they had the only F-250 in America that was protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. When the eggs hatched, the nest was removed but the people at the dealership became too invested in the babies to rush them out. The buyers understood and they were thanked for being “incredibly understanding” about the situation. How understanding are you about situations that arise that might be beyond your control?
