Understanding John 11: The Death and Resurrection of Lazarus

In John 11 one of Jesus dearest friends dies. The shortest verse in the Bible records that 'Jesus wept.' After waiting four days, and the body had begun to decompose, Jesus returns saying "I am the resurrection and the life." He then raises Lazarus back up causing many to believe.
