Understanding predeterminism, the self, and more.
from Imperfect vision Hosted by David
In this episode of the specifist, I am going to be talking about what predetermination is, how it works, as well as how this relates to the self. Many ideas and explanations have been given to describe what the self is, but I give my own definition as well as why I think this, and no other definition applies more than any other. This was the interesting article that not also inspired this episode, but helped me understand the self more than I already did: https://bigthink.com/articles/the-self-is-not-an-illusion/
