Understanding suicidal ideation | Shattered - The Podcast [STP]

So over the course of mental health month I've heard a lot of talk about suicide ideation. I thought it was fairly straightforward until a couple of people ask me a few questions about it. Suicidal ideation is the broad term that describes a preoccupation with death, suicide, or self-harm. What is it? How does it come on who does it affect and what is some of the outcomes that people can have. That's what we're going to touch on today on STP. One of my jobs this October is to educate people as to the reality of living with a mental illness. NOT so you'll feel sorry for me but rather that you can know that you are not alone.
