Understanding the Differences Between MLM and Affiliate Marketing

from Epixel Podcast

Both multi level marketing and affiliate marketing are quite popular passive income methods, each offering it's own unique way to make an income. Affiliate marketers get paid when they promote a product at link level and it is sold, without having to maintain inventory or recruit. MLM, on the other hand, requires selling products and signing up others in the sales network you build; income comes not just from your own sales but also that of your team. You don’t need to invest huge amount of money in affiliate marketing; but it has scalability and is more flexible with content and traffic. MLM requires greater dedication to selling, recruiting, organized communication as well as sometimes the initial financial investments. Either way, success in each is also dependent upon personal tastes, risk appetite, interpersonal skills and capacity to build an audience or downline.   Hosted on Acast.
