Understanding the Golf Swing with Manuel de la Torre
from GOLF SMARTER Members
Golf Instructor Manuel de la Torre started playing golf at 18 months because his father was a European tour professional who won the Spanish Open six times. His father was close friends with Ernest Jones and the two of them talked for hours as the young Manuel paid attention. Today, at 87 years young, Manuel is still teaching at the Milwaukee Country Club and has a great book called Understanding the Golf Swing. He believes that we make the golf swing too complicated, don't visualize our shots enough and fail to recognize that the golf swing is similar to so many other things we do in life that can make it much easier to grasp. If you are interested in more from Manuel, you can purhcase his book "Understanding the Golf Swing" from our Golfers' Mart. Join us for our very first Golf Smarter Adventure in Prague, Czech Republic from September 4-7, 2009. Special pricing for Members and reduced rates for partners who won't be playing golf. Please let us know if you're interested in coming by August 1. Come play 18 with me in the San Francisco area on October 12, 2009. I'm putting a group of GOLF SMARTER listeners together for a round on the Monday following the President's Cup at Harding Park. You'll receive a GOLF SMARTER golf shirt, Dixon Earth golf balls and be part of a recording session for an upcoming episode of GOLF SMARTER. Please join us, I can't wait to meet you!!
