Based on (1 John 1:1-5) Understanding the Nature and Character of God 2: reminds believers of the importance of not only knowing the nature and the character of God but making the revelation an integral part of the life of the believer in Christ Jesus.The disciples of Jesus Christ did not follow undefined trajectories of truth but a wholesome and undeniable  truth that has the propensity to save.Mike further encouraged believers to approach God’s Word with reverence and as a single thread of the salvation narrative. To study God’s nature and character, Jesus Christ must be the principal subject matter because, “…in Christ there is all of God in a human body”.
