The Parable of the Sower, or sometimes known as the Parable of the Four Soils, is the first major parable Jesus Christ taught during his ministry. Recorded in three of the four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, and Luke, it has become a widely known story in the Bible. But for the modern-day reader who might not be familiar with ancient agriculture in Israel, some of the meanings might get lost.
