Understanding Ukraine from 1991 - 2022 with Greg Satell

from Mid-Atlantic - conversations about US, UK and world politics

Durings Ukraine’s 30-years of independence since the Soviet Union’s collapse, it has had to contend with neighbouring Russia’s tightening grip and expanding power on the country's geopolitical future. Instead of following the current Russian invasion and the heroic defence of the Ukrainian people today I want to look at Ukrainian politics from 1991 to 2022 with Grreg Satell who lived in Kiev and witnessed the 2004 Orange Revolution and the growing sense of Ukrainian national identity.
