Understanding your Relationship with Learning | Trusting the Process If/When Mastery Isn't a Given

from Support, Protect, Empower - The Project Purpose Podcast · host Rachelle Innocent

Understanding your Relationship with Learning | Trusting the Process If/When Mastery Isn't a Given It feels good to be knowledgeable in a given area 😊. Being the subject matter expert in a given topic is an opportunity to lend insight, support, and perspective for ongoing developments within your area of expertise. Many of us have such deep knowledge in a given area, we forgot that getting to this area of "know how" was a process 😩 When we step outside of our comfort zone and given ourselves the opportunity to learn something new, and find ourselves struggling... rather than be discouraged, stay motivated 😊 Some concepts take time to understand, and the more challenging the learning process, the more you've given yourself an opportunity to develop proficiency in an area that doesn't come easily to you. While many people advocate for sticking to your strengths, I believe there is something to be said about investing in developing mastery, and becoming well rounded in the skills and areas of knowledge you acquire. Blindspots never helped anyone, and we have our lifetime to perfect the practice of learning - to support our own growth and evolution 😁😎 #education #trusttheprocess #mastery 0:00 - 2:20 - Intro 2:20 - 14:00 - Trusting the Process with Learning 14:00 - Wrap Up Any questions?
