Undocumented Relief Fund

We are joined by Washington Dream Coalition Mujere’s who are organizing the statewide COVID-19 Undocumented Relief Fund in Washington State. Along with various partners including Scholarship Junkies, SOMOS Seattle and more--Alejandra Perez, Larissa RG and Daniela Murguia share with us a little bit about their experience organizing in education and immigrant rights. Which has lead to their current efforts in helping Undocumented Communities during this global pandemic. They share the process of the application along with the ins and outs of the work in organizing this type of effort. This episode is full of the energy we need as a collective. One that fosters trust and community, that uplifts voices from various perspectives and that honors the anger we feel as Undocumented people who are tired of the abuse our communities face. Washington Dream Coalition is partnered with Northwest Immigrants Rights Project, Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network, Entre Hermanos, SOMOS Seattle, SWWA LULAC, Latino Community Resource Group, Latino Youth Conference and Vancouver NAACP.
