Born and raised in Rotterdam, Nixon Dias is a true lover of music and fashion. His passion for music started at the age of eight, when he secretly listened to his older brother's collection of jazz, soul, and hip-hop records. It was then that he fell in love with music. Although that passion was put on hold for a while after he was given an incredible opportunity, music always remained close to his heart. Nixon began his DJ journey in Rotterdam's local clubs, including Toko 94 and Bar P, before going on to organize his own events. His sound is inspired by DJ's and producers such as DJ Spinna, Masters at Work (MAW), Joe Claussell, Karizma, Kaidi Tatham, Gnawa music, and the rich musical heritage of his Cape Verdean roots.
