Unexpected Warrior Verse of the Day! April 4th

Amos 5:24 – But let your justice run down like water, and righteousness like a mighty stream… The Prophet Amos was crying out to God for Justice. He had warned the people of Israel of the coming day of the Lord and His displeasure. What good is that day to you if it is full of darkness and not light? They had turned their hearts away from God. And though they kept the feasts, offered their offerings, sang their songs, and played their music. It had become mere tradition. They had forgotten their first love.  It’s much like we can become in our modern churches today. Full of tradition… We say our prayers, play our music, sing our songs… But is our heart truly yearning for our Father? Are we seeking Him, His kingdom and His righteousness? Or are we just filling an obligation? It can be an easy rut to find ourselves in. But, if we will humble ourselves and pray… He will draw us back to His heart and He will make us to become Unexpected Warriors
