Unexpected Warrior Verse of the Day - March 20th

James 5:16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James was instructing the church how to pray for the sick that was among them. He said let him call for the leadership of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of Jesus. It’s the prayer of faith that will save the sick. It is the Lord Jesus that raises us up and forgives us for our sins. If we open up with one another, share with each other our faults, our failures, our sins, we remove the barriers, we become real with each other so that we may be healed, that we may be restored when we pray for each other.  When we pray earnestly, when we pray heartfelt prayers one for another it makes tremendous power available to us, dynamic in its working and it makes us the Unexpected Warriors that we were created to be!
