Unexpected Warrior Verse of the Day! March 28th

Matthew 6:6 – But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. There are some pretty specific instructions here about our prayer life… You need to find your secret place… Set time aside for God… It’s all about building relationship with our Father… He isn’t a “Genie in a bottle” when we need a quick answer… No, He wants us to get to know Him…  For me, I enjoy spending time in prayer at night… That is time that I specifically set aside for my Father… It’s when I can just get one on one with Him and ask Him to show me His heart, His will…  And as we develop our relationship with Him, His desires become our desires... When we pray according to His plans and purposes and not our own, we will begin to see answered prayers… And we will begin to develop into an Unexpected Warrior!
