Unexpected Warrior Verse of the Day! May 16th

Proverbs 22:6 – Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.  What does it mean to train your child in the way he should go? The obvious of course is to teach your child what is right and what is wrong… Teach your child what it is to have a relationship of their own with our Father in heaven… Teach them how the Living Word of God is able to make them wise for salvation through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ…  And it also means to look for their gifts and talents that the Lord has given them and guide them in developing and using those things for the kingdom… But don’t irritate or provoke them to anger… don’t push them so hard that they resent you… but raise them in love, with training and discipline… with the counsel and admonition of the Lord… Train them how to be Unexpected Warriors!
