Unexpected Warrior Verse of the Day! May 9th

2 Corinthians 7:10 – For Godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. Godly sorrow is felt in us when we truly come to place of regret for the sin I our lives. It’s when we have come to the end of a thing and realize that we can’t do it on our own… that we need a Savior! The sorrow of the world is simply a regret that we were caught in something or a regret that we are suffering because of something that we have done. But it doesn’t produce any change in us and leads to eternal death or separation from God! If you have children, you see this example in them. When they are caught doing something we’ve asked them not to do. Are they truly repentant? Or are they just sorry they got caught? Our heavenly Father allows us to feel the sorrow and the shame of sin to bring us to a place of repentance and transform us into Unexpected Warriors!
