Unexpectedly Off-Grid
from Purpose, Passion, Profit Hosted by Ken Eash
In this episode, we have something special in store. Today, I want to take a moment to share a personal experience that I recently had. It all started when we encountered some unexpected power issues at our homestead. It was a bit of a shock, but it pushed us to take action and get our solar system up and running as soon as possible. Now, going off-grid was always part of our long-term plan, but we hadn't anticipated needing to do it so soon. That's where Shawn Mills from Hack My Homestead comes into the picture. I reached out to him for assistance, and I have to say, he was an absolute lifesaver. Shawn didn't waste any time. He quickly ordered all the necessary components for our solar system and, here's the best part, he offered to install it for us completely free of charge. I can't express my gratitude enough for his generosity and expertise. I know this isn't something Shawn does for everyone, but I wanted to give him a special shoutout because he truly is the go-to person for anyone who needs a solar consultation or some guidance with alternative energy solutions. His website, HackMyHomestead.com, is a treasure trove of information, and you can also connect with him on Instagram to learn more about solar power and all things related to alternative energy. Shawn Mills is truly an amazing guy, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have crossed paths with him during this challenging time. That's all for today, folks. Remember to keep doing good work and stay tuned for more exciting episodes ahead.
