UnforMETable, Episode 53: Brian Bannister

Welcome to UnforMETable, an Amazin’ Avenue Audio show that looks back on less heralded, more obscure Mets players from the past. Brian Bannister was drafted by the Mets in 2003, and made it to the Show in 2006. While he only made a handful of starts before getting injured, Bannister showed potential for the team, and was used as a trade chip in the off-season. From there, he went to Japan, to the Red Sox’s coaching staff, and now to the Giants’ front office.
