UNGA Debates Congo and Moldova

The theme of the 78th session of the General Assembly, including the general debate, will be: "Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity: Accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards peace, prosperity, progress and sustainability for all." This theme encompasses the recognition that we are at a crossroads in history and that the path ahead will be decisive in determining not only our future, but that of generations to come. Accordingly, we must work creatively to preserve and to further strengthen multilateralism, by re-dedicating ourselves to upholding and defending its centerpiece, the Charter of the United Nations.
