I'm really is really is going to another social power. I am your host Tara's to real me name There's a once again check on my loss Make sure everything is on Where where needs to be? Okay, that seems to be wonderful So tonight I want to talk about my brief or bastards now I have every intention on doing the episode just like everybody else with a cat Williams Follow-up episode and I was going to call a standing on business of course, but Nah today. I'm going in different direction And maybe some where along the line, I might mention something from the end of you, but For sure, I want to talk about and grateful pastors, you know Here in black society and black american society We as a whole has Have overcome a lot we have Progress the whole bunch since the days of my grandmother since the days of my grandfather since the days of my mother and my father And um, but we still have so much work to do as a community Most of that work Is within the mind most of that work is within the mind between our two years Um, and sometimes, you know in the words of the most honorable minister ferrica He teaches us that hey, you have to be patient Which of brothers you have to be patient with the people that look like you Um, and sometimes I know that as a whole that it could be very difficult That could be a very daunting task if you're not Equipped or if you have not showed the patience or the capacity for such a task No In the black community And I think I've done episodes on um, why people are in grateful by people who You do the most for other ones that stand being the back the most but in this particular case I just want to just give an abstract um analysis Or people in their issues You know Doing so much for somebody can be self-fulfilling at times because In your mind, you may be thinking to yourself.

Hey, I'm having another person that looks like me out Hey, I'm helping a person that's down in the luck And I can empathize or sympathize with that situation so I'm going to help them get better or become better people But in most cases that breeze envy In most cases A lot of people are not grateful. They're just very envious and very evil A lot of people that you help will take the opportunity To try to harm you in so many ways because they are not grateful Not at all because of expectations Expectations, entitlement and lack of accountability and responsibility Breeze these um grateful bestes It really does It really does If you're a deafer somebody Every time they mess up Then and you have not held this person accountable for the actions or that don't be responsible for themselves To a certain degree you're going to be um responsible for their unfaithfulness You there's still is that makes sounds you may be like when I was trying to help them out But the thing is this If you could do something so much for somebody to the point where in their mind they're going Oh, this person is opposed to do this for me Instead of saying hey, you know what this person cares so much about me Um when I get On my feet when I get where I need to go I want to get um in a position to help them Or try to get in position to help them. I'm going to do the same thing That's not the case That's just not the case and most people take that opportunity to try to lobby against you to try to hurt you you know I don't I don't talk about I don't talk about my personal life as much I don't I don't But one particular case one particular person Sticks up in my mother. I'm not even going to say any names.

I'm just going to say that In particular as a case example as a case study I had a particular romantic partner and she was um in my life Mm For a while in and out But She was down on her luck She wasn't moving in the right directions wasn't connected to the right people and I in turn tried to upgrade on some sorts She met some people that she wouldn't met Otherwise Without me She went to some places that she wouldn't win Otherwise without me But even more than that she was going to a college And I was and I was able to I'm still able to but I was able to unfortunately enough to Allow her to Sit down and just go to college Now we're about a job now we're about food and how the scar insurance card note and all these things I was able to afford housing for And provide different things that are nature for but my point being is You would think that somebody like that would be grateful She was not she was not You got to the point where the entitlement and expectations Were just outrageous Like you're supposed to do this You're supposed to take care of a grown-ass person No, I don't have to I'm not supposed to take care of a grown-ass person Even if you are a woman I'm not supposed to take care of you I choose to do that because I had love for you But in black society as a whole When we see someone like that even within our own communities we're model the king birthday tomorrow And a celebration of his birthday tomorrow Don't you know where people like that are model the king people like that don't you know that instead of um Celebrating them before they're done and things like that That people will try to take advantage of a person like a model to king They won't appreciate him until he's dead gone Because make no bones about it. They had a lot of people in black society My model to king well people say a lot of these old bastards Will say that they were marching with Dr. Martin Luther King and he really wasn't They hated that man They hated somebody that was out there doing the work for them And that's a real tragedy It really is And This was our record coldness tomorrow. I think it's supposed to be like 23 degrees tomorrow in the city of New Orleans and it's supposed to be Freeze advisories all over the place But with that being said one thing that I want to make clear is That as we embark on the journeys of Growth It seems like that that we understand that On that journey we are going to encounter some unfaithful bastards We are People that are going to say we're supposed to be the ones to sacrifice ourselves for the community What's supposed to be the ones to elevate ourselves Above all the bullshit We're supposed to help take care of the community In particular New Orleans has a lot of great for bastards a lot of them A lot of entitlement A lot of expectations Excuse me And for the most part for things that they themselves couldn't even do for themselves like where people can't do things for themselves Is it It rags my mind to the program just like How could you ever be that I'm grateful to upon where you just feel like You deserve to have certain resources after somebody else has put their life on the line for them You don't even know what it took to even get those things man You're just thinking to yourself.

Hey, this person got it. This person don't go here. Take care of that for me Instead of going let me see If I could do this for myself No, I was I oh, yeah, I'm grateful bastards See After a lot of people start expecting you to do and do and do and do and for the most part I'll put In their input it isn't equal. So that's when you guys start making things in the bush and things now And I can't even not say you're gonna be never resistant Hell you may even be you may even be Trading Little baby made with great resistance in some cases to the part where you know police report may have to be filled out but For the most part may at the end of the day Just know that you're the person with the resources and that you're the person with the power And it's really why people hate you when you're able to do things for people that they can't do for themselves They see you as a powerful person But instead of learning from you and learning how to get there and how to get this power from you They try to extract resources from you manipulate and maneuverable themselves in a way that's very devious and that's very um you know the c4 but I'm gonna tell you As a person that has had soft spots for some ungrateful bastards in their lives at times Get rid of those ungrateful bastards the moment you spot them Okay, who they are to you what they what you think they mean to you get rid of because at the end of the day Those ungrateful bastards make our shoes your life And people may call me cynical people may call me May say that I have a different or a strange view of the world but at the end of the day That's just what it is.

May What else you don't know before I get out here today may low-hanging fruit be a streaming on About three streaming platforms is streaming on Amazon Prime for sure Cluster tv And another platform that I can't regulate that I stay here right now The game my podcast has been picked up by three streaming services as well New Orleans 2030 is on three four five platforms right now and we're moving ahead man. We're getting We're making leeway Next up is going to be on my point is symphony for sure based off this book I recall I'm sorry to survive the took so long go check that out as Amazon and all my works This has been a great episode. I think that's what listening. I just spoke truth the power.

Have a good night
