'Unhappy Birthday Party' & 'Son’s Fault, but Dad Owes' & 'Bank Robber Getting Robbed of Payments'

First, The plaintiff says she’s known the defendant for years and rented a party venue from her for her 50th birthday. She claims the venue was filthy and undecorated, so she’s suing for her money back. The defendant says the plaintiff never complained, and insists the venue was clean and ready for the party. She’s countersuing for defamation because she claims the plaintiff badmouthed her online.  Then, The plaintiff met the defendant on a dating site. She and the defendant never hit it off romantically, but they became close friends and roommates. The plaintiff says the defendant’s son stole her car and got into a bad accident. She’s suing for an impound fee, a towing fee, and car repairs. The defendant argues he doesn’t feel responsible for his son’s actions that night.  Plus, The plaintiff robbed a bank when he was 17 years old and spent 15 years in prison. He got out of prison and looked for any job possible. He says he repaired the defendant’s air conditioner in his truck, but the defendant hasn’t paid, so he’s suing for breach of contract.
