Union Activity is on the rise!

On today's episode of the Worker Power Hour, we kicked things off with recent labor news regarding Kentucky unions' fight to repeal right to work laws and other labor wins. We were joined by Lisa Jeffers, with the Right at Home Foundation, who offer home care services for those who require the extra assistance to sustain a healthy lifestyle.   Next we had on Councilwoman Denise Davis from Redlands to discuss city council updates, why she is seeking another term, and her opinions on the CA ballot measure to tax the billionaires.  Shortly after, we were joined by our County Teamster members out of Pre-School Services Department to talk about their fight against increased ratios in their classrooms.  We end the show with Teamsters Local 2010 Vice President, Ernesto Torres, to talk about Local 2010's strike against the California State Univeristy System for not honoring their contract.
