State workers in California are challenging Newsom’s mandate requiring them to return to the office four days a week starting July 1, as lawmakers advance a bill to ensure telework options.  Gov. Gavin Newsom points to politics for a Department of Justice investigation into his and his wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom's finances.
