UNITE!-The Right Wing is still U.S.

As we wait with bated breathe the results of the 2020 election I want to muse about the 49% of America who voted for Trump even after everything. Are they all “deplorables?” It would be easy to label them as such but I don’t think so. We need to look closer and ask ourselves what sort of system even gave us these choices in the first place: a career politician or a crooked businessman wasn’t really a choice. If you voted you did your duty as a citizen. You are not the problem. The people who gave us these choices are. They say the system is broken. Is it really? Or is it working precisely as intended? If the masses are fighting against themselves they will never be able to unite and come together to affect real change. The media on both sides have done a great job fuelling dissent and division. Left wing, right wing, wings don’t flap themselves. Who controls the bird?
