United States v. Trump: January 6th and Trump Prosecutions Face a Major SCOTUS Hurdle

SCOTUS granted Cert in Fischer v. United States. The challenge of a January 6th defendant whose charges were dismissed by Judge Nichols of the DC District Court. With oral argument in April and a decision in June the court will decide if the same statute used to charge Trump can be applied to the Capitol "insurrection".
