Unity Instead of Diversity
from Daily Got a Minute Message with John Ed · host DENON
Affordability is a big issue today. I read recently where there is an issue that both democrats and republicans were agreeing on—it deals with rotisserie chicken. Currently, SNAP benefits cannot be used on hot prepared food, but the “Hot Rotisserie Chicken Act” is being supported by people on both sides of the aisle. A democrat supporter of the republican legislation has even given a big shout out to Costco. He must have a good lobbyist. He says that “America’s best and delicious affordability play is Costco’s $4.99 rotisserie chicken.” I wish politicians would find a lot more things that they would agree on and work toward unity rather than diversity. Rotisserie chicken might a good starting point.
