Unity of Love

As I have loved you, so you must love one another.Jesus prayed for Unity of Love within the church family.  How do we love one another as a church family? 1.     We love by remaining in God’s love.John 15:9-10 9 “As the Father has loved me,so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.10 If you keep my commands,you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 2.     We love by bearing with one another.Forgiveness: Colossians 3:13 “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”patience & forbearance: Ephesians 4:2 “2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”  3.     We love by building up one another Encouragement: 1Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” Accountability: Proverbs 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”  4.     We love by serving one another Galatians 5:13“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.”
