Unknowable & Undefinable
from Cup o' Joe Hosted by Joseph Zenk
Readings for the Solemnity of the Holy Trinity - Exodus 34:4b-6; 8-9; John 3:16-18 Unknowable and undefinable. That's God's own definition of God's very self. Yet that doesn't keep us from trying to know and define God. And that's a fine thing. Theologians have been doing it for millennia. We all have. That's how we come up with the very definition - three yet one - that we celebrate today. But don't let past understandings or misunderstandings confine you. God is bigger. God is always bigger. Special thanks to Bridget Zenk for composing and performing our intake and outtake music. And thanks to you for taking time to listen and open yourself to the Word and God's indescribable Self.
