Unknown Broadcast | Malice Aforethought: A Country Doctor’s Calculated Poison-Murder Trial

A country doctor begins treating his wife’s headaches with a plan to make himself a widower. Unknown Broadcast presents “Malice Aforethought,” a Suspense adaptation of Francis Iles’s crime novel. Edmund Bickleigh wants freedom from Julia and a future with another woman; his medical authority offers a way to disguise calculation as care. But a confident explanation can become dangerous when other people remember its details. This psychological murder drama follows an apparently respectable man whose greatest weakness may be his belief that he has considered everything.
