UNLEARNING THANK-LESSNESS

'Oh my where are the Nine'? Jesus was stunned, He had just miraculously cured 10 men of a debilitating flesh decaying disease, a disease that basically meant they were cut off from society, He drew close to them, touched them and healed them. however only one came back to show gratitude! where does ingratitude stem from?, entitlement is the sister of pride, a spirit that flourishes in the natural man, it is more natural to be thank-less than to be grateful. But you see, we have not so learned Christ. God's will for us is thanksgiving. Johnson Oatman wrote that song 'Count your blessings, see what God has done, Count your blessings every doubt will fly! Thanksgiving bolsters faith! Thanksgiving stirs an atmosphere for miracles. Thankfulness is an atitude God's children must learn and master. Are you ever burdened With a load of care? Does the cross seem heavy You are called to bear? Count your many blessings Every doubt will fly And you will keep singing As the days go by~ John Oatman
