UNLOCKED / ElectronicallyOurs: Scanner
from Electronically Yours with Martyn Ware Hosted by Martyn Ware
Todays’s episode, unlocked from the Patreon vaults, features the inimitable Scanner. Robin Rimbaud is an electronic musician who works under the alias Scanner, owing to his use of cell phones and police scanners in live performance. He is also a member of the band Githead with Wire's Colin Newman and Malka Spigel, and Max Franken from Minimal Compact. He has composed a vast number of electronic works, particularly for dance organisations around the world, and he is a much-loved lecturer and advocate for humanitarian and socialist rights. He is also very funny. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Scanner... If you can, please support the Electronically Yours podcast via my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/electronicallyours
