*Unlocked* Writer's Desk 12 - Ethics and Death of the Author - Researcher's POV

from The Left Page

Hello veryone! This is a very special Writer's Desk, as it was originally closed, but now I release it to all, along with the companion piece on theReading Corner It is, after all, a conversation on the question of the Death of the Author, what it is, and how to think is alongside ethics. In it I both present the concept and try to engage with how to engage in contemporary capitalism and any possibility for ethics or, at the very least, avoiding blatantly unethical actions. It is not an easy nor a simple conversation in the slightest, and yet, I try to handle it as best as I can and to add some important insights. However, as I edited it, and following a train of thought the next day, I realized that there was a pretty large gap in the conversation, for which I made the Reading Corner a part of this as well. Thus, I dub this the Researcher's POV and you can at this very moment also read the Reader's POV, have fun!
