Born in New Zealand, she earned her master’s degree (MSc) and Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology at Otago University. After completing her studies, she moved to Australia, where she spent a decade working as a psychologist in Gippsland and Melbourne. But her restless curiosity and love for adventure led her to South America—a journey that would change the course of her life and inspire her book, Picaflor (Hummingbird).In Buenos Aires, Jessica found not just a home, but a husband and the joy of motherhood. Her career has taken many enriching turns, from teaching English and coaching Argentine doctors and psychologists for international conferences to consulting for the New Zealand Chapter of the Chamber of Commerce in Buenos Aires and crafting copy for a US-based five-star wellness retreat and executive résumés.A transformative experience with a functional medicine practitioner—who let her speak uninterrupted for a whole hour in their first session—showed her the profound impact of being truly heard. Witnessing firsthand the power of holistic lifestyle changes, she felt a deep calling to retrain as a Health Coach and support others on their path to wellness.Jessica is passionate about fostering caring, global connections, communicating authentically, and always leading with compassion.
