Josh Pather started a photo booth rental business as a side hustle in 2012. He built his first photo booth from scratch and started renting it out for weekend events, all while working a job for a large company during the week. When his job was moved overseas, Josh took this as a sign it was time to focus on his business full-time. By 2015, Josh was facing the best problem a business owner can have: He had more business than he could handle, with as many as 10 events happening on any given Saturday. He was also getting a lot of inquiries from people wondering where they could buy photo booths. This gave Josh the idea to start Photo Booth International, giving entrepreneurs a turnkey model they could use to start photo booth businesses of their own. Josh credits his business growth to a combination of hard work and his marketing expertise.
