Unmai Arivom | Episode 01 | What is information? What are the types of information?

      "Unmai Arivom" is an effort taken by Factshala to impart training on how to find, check and verify fake news being circulated on social media and the internet.        In the first episode of Unmai Arivom, we learn what is meant by information and what fake news is through a drama enacted by the station. We are taught to raise questions whenever we come across unverified content or news on the internet so that we can stop the spread of fake news. Next, RJ Lenin talks about necessary information and unnecessary information. He explains the impact we could create by sharing verified necessary information. He also talks about some of the common unnecessary information doing the rounds on the internet such as the lottery winner scam we all might have come across in our lives.
