Unmai Arivom | Episode 02 | How to know what is right and what is false?

     "Unmai Arivom" is an effort taken by Factshala to impart training on how to find, check and verify fake news being circulated on social media and the internet.      In the second episode of Unmai Arivom, RJ Lenin talks about how we can verify whether a piece of information we come across is true or false. He begins this episode by stating that India has a staggering 650 million internet users (50%) of the population and that recent studies have shown a spike in internet usage in rural areas. This is to bring into perspective the scope of the Internet in India. He then talks about how modern AI softwares are advanced enough to feed you information it predicts you might need. In the end, he mentions some things we can all do to verify whether information we come across on the internet are true or false.
