Unmuted Part 2 (The Name of Jesus: Shhh… 🤫) “One day Jesus cast out a demon from a man who couldn’t speak, and when the demon was gone, the man began to speak. The crowds were amazed, but some of them said, “No wonder he can cast out demons. He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons.” Others, trying to test Jesus, demanded that he show them a miraculous sign from heaven to prove his authority. He knew their thoughts, so he said, “Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A family splintered by feuding will fall apart.” Luke 11:14-17 NLT “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, saying, “What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name.” So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.” So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way of punishing them, because of the people, since they all glorified God for what had been done. For the man was over forty years old on whom this miracle of healing had been performed.” Acts 4:13-22 NKJV Introduction  Making a name for yourself in this world is what we are encouraged to do  Everybody wants to leave a mark on this earth and be remembered  Other people will study further to attain highest degrees Others start big companies  Others want to climb the cooperate ladder as high as they can get  God created us with that urge to want to make it in life and that is good Gods Promise To Abraham  “I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.” Genesis 12:2 NKJV   These people have great name in our country and have done great things  They all have great name but the name of Jesus is above all name I can’t cast out a demon in the name of Nelson Mandela or by any of their names  The Name of Jesus  Philippians 2:5-11 NKJV There is no greater name than the name of Jesus  When we call upon it in every language the effectiveness remains the same  Demons are scared at the name of Jesus  All sickness and disease are healed in the name of Jesus  Troubled minds find peace in the name of Jesus  People find salvation in the name of Jesus  Prodigals come back home in the name of Jesus  John 14:13-14 NKJV John 16:23-24 NKJV Colossians 3:17 NKJV Mark 16:17-18 NKJV John 14:6 NKJV Acts 3:6 NKJV Luke 9:49-50 NKJV All these verses shows us the power that is in the name of Jesus  The devil wants to shush us from using this powerful name  He knows that his kingdom cannot stand against the name of Jesus  We need to understand that this name has power Let us refuse to accept defeat when we have the name of Jesus Let us refuse to be sick when we have the name of Jesus Let us praise, shout and worship in the name of Jesus Closure: Using The Name of Jesus Unworthy  Acts 19:11-17 NKJV The access code for using this powerful name of Jesus is salvation  You currently have an answer to all challenges you have faced in your life  The PIN code is accepting Jesus as your personal saviour in your life  Who are you without the love of Christ?
