For our third episode, Dr. Deb has a powerful discussion with Dr. Ronald Copeland, senior vice president and chief equity, inclusion, and diversity officer at Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Copeland is a recently retired board-certified general surgeon who joined Kaiser Permanente in 1988 after a six-year honorable tour-of-duty in the United States Air Force Medical Corps. Prior to his current role, he served as president and executive medical director of the Ohio Permanente Medical Group and in 2016, Dr. Copeland was appointed to the board of the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine, to name just a few accolades.
