cancel culture is a thing...boy howdy... shit you do or did, has consequences and repercussions and thats a good thing. yer not a victim if youre being called out on yer completely shitty behavior! but is it always fair? every single person i know has done something offensive,inapropriate, racist, homophobic, awful...but as people grow, they change, have remorse,have regret,mature and make a personal effort to be better to others. thats humanity, thats life. As you ag, hopefully youd view the world differently.  you cant always judge someone who did one stupid thing as a teenager, then call him out 20 yrs later when he is a completely different person...theres nuance, theres intent, there is room for remorse and forgiveness... BUT THEN there are those people who dont change, dont learn, dont grow...they are the same piece of shit at 40 as they were at 14. those are the people that deserve condemnation...  just like that clown from Rick & Morty...he was showing who he was on a weekly basis, but maybe we refused to see how toxic the dude actually was cuz the jokes were funny...? THE #metoo movement was so powerful and profound, it still resonates. the culture NEEDED to change Saul & I just throw out opinions, say shit that may be offensive,but we really just want people to treat other people cool and not be an asshole
