Unshakable Prayers

I once heard someone say, “The size of your God will determine the boldness of your prayers.” It made me pause and evaluate my own prayers. In other words, how and what we pray for is shaped, in part, by the God we are trusting in and believing to answer. The bigger our view of God, the bolder our prayers. When the early church faced its first wave of opposition, the disciples had a choice to make about how they would respond—and what they would pray. What they believed about God ultimately shaped how they prayed. So, what do your prayers say about the size of God you’re trusting? Whatever you’re facing today or this week, we can learn a lot from the first “Good News People” about confident, bold, unshakable prayers. Join us this Sunday as we continue On Mission With Jesus and look to the early church in Acts to discover what bold, unshakable prayer looks like.
